The owner of a Morris County massage business has been arrested and charged with promoting prostitution at his place of business on Route 46, authorities said Tuesday.
Bumsuk Lee, 67, of Flushing, New York, operated an illicit shop called New Paradise Spa, located on Route 46 in the Kenvil neighborhood of Roxbury Township, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The shop generated an income from sexual acts performed by various employees, the prosecutor’s office said.
Less is charged with second-degree money laundering and third-degree promoting prostitution.
A 43-year-old woman is charged with engaging in prostitution at the business, a disorderly persons offense.
The New York Police Department arrested Lee on July 24 during the execution of a search warrant of his business and residence in Flushing, in Queens.
Lee is currently incarcerated at Riker’s Island jail in New York City pending extradition to New Jersey.
